*A Chinese blanc de Chine model of Guanyin 19th century, seated on a foliate and key fret plinth, wrapped in flowing robes to conceal her arms, her right knee raised, her hair secured in a high chignon, an impressed mark to the reverse which reads bo ji yu ren (virtue extends to all, even fishermen), 24.8cm.
