A Chinese celadon jade carving of an elephant probably 19th century, standing four-square, a saddle cloth on its back and with his trunk raised to the left, a boy holding a large lingzhi spray clambering upon it, the stone with russet-brown markings, 7.5cm.

Provenance: a private Hong Kong collection.
