A Chinese famille rose bottle vase Yongzheng 1723-35, painted with a scholar seated in a fenced garden, holding a lingzhi fungus, with an attendant boy carrying a vase at his side, a bat and small insects in flight above them, and with incense burners and scrolls to the reverse, 22cm.
