λ A Chinese ivory reticulated bitong 19th century, deeply carved in relief with warriors fighting beneath willow and pine trees on a geometric ground, and with two lozenge-shaped panels containing smaller figures amidst trees and pagodas, all raised on a scrolling foliate base, 13.3cm.
