A Copeland Christmas mug dated 1883, the tapered form with a handle formed as a robin peering into the mug's interior, later decorated with large sprays of berried holly, signed 'HJ' beside the handle, underneath with an indistinct name or title and 'Aug 1883' in red, printed mark and moulded registration diamond, 10.5cm.
