A 19th century French silver sugar vase and cover,
maker's mark of D.G in a lozenge, Paris 1819-38,
circular form, with fluted palm supports, lion head scroll handles, the pull-off cover with a pierced finial, on a raised square base on four ball feet, with a later blue glass liner, height 25cm, approx. weight 16.5oz.
