Description
A Tonga headrest, Kali Toloni, with a curved and waisted surface on bulbous arched legs, the underside with a medial ridge, pre 1840, 17.5cm high, 41cm wide.
Provenance:
The collection of Rear Admiral Joseph Fidele Eugege du Bouzet (1805 - 1867). Collected on his expedition in the Pacific from 1837 - 1840. Thence by descent.
