A mid 19th century French pearwood sarcophagus shape box, the hinged lid with carved mother of pearl spandrels decorated with birds and animals and with a steel handle, the now vacant interior with a mirror to the lid, on mother of pearl feet, 8.3cm high, 15.7cm wide, 11.3cm deep.
