Description

An Arts and Crafts necklace by Kate Eadie, set overall with graduated oval-shaped citrines to the foliate silver mounts on an ornate chain decorated with foliate links. The pendant and centre-section 8cm high the necklace 38cm long. Unsigned. Fitted case by Tadema Gallery.

Kate Eadie was a pupil of Arthur Gaskin's in the Vittoria Street School of Jewellery. She married Sidney Metyard, a prominent member of the Birmingham school of Artists. She modelled for some of his paintings including St Cecilia.
