A George III silver two-handled meat platter,
by Paul Storr, London 1817,
oval form, foliate and shell border, engraved with script initials, 'HSA', beneath a coronet, length 49.5cm, approx. weight 73oz.
Provenance: Bonham's Fine Silver, New Bond Street, 2 July 2008, lot 294.
The initials and coronet are those of the Dukes of St. Albans.
