A George III silver swing-handled bread basket,
by Robert Hennell, London 1791,
oval form, pierced with vertical slats and with bright-cut borders, reeded swing-handle, the centre engraved with a crest, on a raised pierced oval foot, length 36.4cm, approx. weight 25.5oz.
The crest is that of many families including Andrew, Carr, Dickson, and others.
