A Meissen figure emblematic of Sight c.1880, from a set of The Senses, modelled as a Classical maiden with a telescope raised to her left eye, holding an open book in her right hand, an eagle with outstretched wings perched by her feet, blue crossed swords mark, incised 2737, 15.5cm.
