LATE MING DYNASTY

Formed as a stylized archaistic dragon, the body carved in shallow relief with spirals, the stone with brown mottling, 12.7cm.

Provenance: from the collection of Prof. Klaus J Mueller (1923-2010), acquired in Hong Kong in the 1960s.
