Description
A RARE AND LARGE CHINESE ARCHAIC BRONZE RITUAL WINE VESSEL, POU
EARLY WARRING STATES PERIOD, 6TH - 5TH CENTURY BC
The spherical body supported on a splayed reticulated foot, cast with a band of S-shaped dragons, the body with four bands of interlocking stylized dragons, reserved on a leiwen ground, the base with lug locks, the surface with a mottled green, blue and iron-red patina, 25.7cm.
