A CHINESE JIANYAO 'HARE'S FUR' GLAZED BOWL

SONG DYNASTY 960-1279 AD

The gently flared body with a metal rim, decorated with an unctuous glaze of black and brown, and with irregular russet markings draining from the rim, stopping before a short footrim, 13cm dia.
