THREE CHINESE JADE FIGURES

QING DYNASTY

One jadeite, carved as Guanyin holding a small bottle, another as a seated Budai He Shang, the third as Shoulao with a small boy who holds a peach, and with bats and clouds, two mounted in wood stands, the stones in celadon and grey, 17cm max. (3)

Provenance: from the collection of Robert Frederick Hathaway (d.1991) of Cape Town, South Africa, collected 1970s-1990.
