A CHINESE CELADON JADE INSCRIBED VASE
QING DYNASTY
The body carved in shallow relief to one side with an orchid and a poem written by the Qianlong Emperor, the reverse with lingzhi and bamboo, the neck with key fret, 18.5cm.
Provenance: from the collection of Robert Frederick Hathaway (d.1991) of Cape Town, South Africa, collected 1970s-1990.
