TWO CHINESE CELADON JADE VASES
QING DYNASTY
One formed as a section of bamboo, with a phoenix holding a lingzhi spray at its base, the other as a conjoined gnarled tree trunk, with pine, prunus and lingzhi, the latter mounted on a wood stand, 14.5cm. (2)
Provenance: from the collection of Robert Frederick Hathaway (d.1991) of Cape Town, South Africa, collected 1970s-1990.
