A FINE CHINESE PALE CELADON JADE CARVING OF PEACHES
QIANLONG 1736-95
The fruits issuing from a gnarled leafy stem, a lotus seed pod and flower to one side, a small chilong clambering to the other beside a lingzhi fungus, the stone with russet markings, raised on a carved hardwood fitted stand, 10cm. (2)
Provenance: given as a gift to the current owner by Adrian Maynard, chairman of Spink & Son in the 1960s.
