λAn 18th century Portuguese colonial hand painted fan, decorated with a pastoral scene of a shepherd and shepherdess shearing sheep and with other figures in a landscape setting with carved bone and mother of pearl guards, 29cm long, together with a 19th century Italian Grand Tour fan painted with grotesques and views of the Temple of Vesta, the Tomb of Caecilia Metella and of the Forum, with tortoiseshell sticks and guards, an ivory and lace fan and two cased fans, one in blonde tortoiseshell.
