A Lower Sepik river mask, Papua New Guinea, of eliptical form, with medial ridge and pointed nose, pigment decoration and with braided fibre border, 46.5cm high.

Cyrille Vanheyst, Palm Beach, Sydney.

Cyrille Vanheyst made many trips to New Guinea between 1957 - 1970 in his capacity as a mine engineer advising on several major projects.
