Description
A Chantilly beaker or mortar c.1735, painted in the Kakiemon palette with four Japanese boys holding fans and other objects, the reverse with two birds in flight, the shaped everted rim with a stylized floral motif to each corner, a chip to the rim, 5.5cm high.
