A pair of Meissen figures from the Commedia dell'Arte modern, after the models by J J Kändler, one of Coviello brandishing a long wavy sword, wearing a doublet edged in blue and gold, his mask with characteristic hooked nose, the other of Boaro playing the mandolin, wearing a bearded mask, blue crossed swords marks, Coviello's sword broken and repaired, 18cm.
