Description
A Worcester sparrow beak jug c.1754, pencilled in black with the Boy on Buffalo pattern, the youngster holding a switch above his head while the placid beast stands by beneath a tall pine tree, the reverse with a bird in flight above boats and willow, black workman's mark to the base, 9.7cm high.
Provenance: the Jack and Sarah Cohen Collection.
