A set of fifteen Hepplewhite style dining chairs, the shaped channelled backs with carved foliage and draped splats, to buttoned and brass studded leather serpentine front seats on square tapering moulded legs to spade feet, late 19th century. (15) Five with paper labels for 'Wright & Mansfield, 104, New Bond Street, W,' stamped 'A.R.H' and inscribed 'WJB' pencil. Ten with ivorene labels for 'Cooper & Holt, Manufacturers, Sunhill Row, London.' ++ Wright & Mansfield 1. Split where left drape meets upright. 2. Both back legs repaired at top. 3. Repairs to splat.
