A 19th century French ormolu and patinated mantel clock, the 8 day movement with an outside count wheel and striking on a bell, silk suspension, the plate inscribed 'Bienayme a Dieppe' to a silvered dial, the case surmounted by a seated figure, probably Aesop, 16in (40.5cm) h, 12in (30.5cm) w. Pendulum and winding key.
