Description
A 19th century mahogany and brass inlaid mantel clock, the twin fusee movement striking on a bell to an 8in (20.2cm) silvered dial inscribed 'BULLOCK, MELKSHAM' with pierced brass scale side panels and ring handles, 19.5in (49.5cm) h, 12.25in (31cm) w. Pendulum, winder and key. The Bullock family worked as clockmakers over six generations in north and west Wiltshire. Three are listed as working in Melksham.
