λ A late Victorian mahogany and brass bound games compendium, the lid inset with a folding leather chequer, backgammon and horse racing games board, above a lift-out tray with a rosewood cribbage board and bone dominoes and eight dice, above another tray with two packs of playing cards and Whist and Bezique markers, the base with counters, a shaker and painted lead jockeys and horses, with a Staunton pattern boxwood and ebony chess set, marked with a red crown, 17.4cm high, 33.3cm wide, 22cm deep.
