Description
A large 19th century Swiss walnut musical box on stand by LeCoultre Geneva, the 43.8cm brass cylinder playing eight airs, with seven bells, one stamped 'F.C. LECOULTRE', a drum and a castanet, with a printed and handwritten tunesheet, inscribed 'FROM NATHAN & CO., UNION PASSAGE, BIRMINGHAM.', the part ebonized case with kingwood banding, with gilt brass handles, on turned tapering legs, 94.7cm high, 84cm wide, 46cm deep.
