λ A late 19th century Swiss rosewood musical box by Paillard Vaucher Fils, the 33cm cylinder with two zithers playing six airs, stamped 'P.V.F.' in two places, the lid inlaid with a marquetry basket of flowers, the case with ebonized and simulated decoration, 61.4cm wide.
