A Victorian silver opium / spice jar and cover,
by Child and Child, London 1889,
modelled as a standing woman in medieval dress, the hinged head with a ruff, on a circular base, the hinged cover opens to reveal an unmarked spoon, the underside of the base with a monogram, height 12.5cm, approx. weight 3oz.
