Description
A 19th century Chinese Export silver table snuff box,
by Wang Hing,
rectangular form, cushioned sides with foliate decoration on a matted background, the hinged cover with a figural scene in a foliate background, with a shield cartouche, engraved with a crest, the base engraved with a bird, length 11.2cm, approx. weight 7oz.
The crest is that of O'Callaghan, Viscount Lismore, of Shanbally Castle, Clogheen, Co. Tipperary.
