A CHINESE PALE CELADON JADE BELT BUCKLE
18TH CENTURY
Carved as a recumbent horse, its feet tucked beneath its body and its head turned over its back, wearing a bridle, a small monkey clambering on its back and holding the reigns, together with an openwork hardwood fitted stand, 8.3cm. (2)
Provenance: a private collection, Hampshire.
