A LARGE CHINESE CORAL VASE AND COVER

19TH CENTURY

The vase emerging from waves, carved in high relief with two scaly dragons contesting a flaming pearl at its base, two further dragons amidst clouds forming the handles, with bands of key fret at the rims, the cover's finial a phoenix, raised on a high hardwood stand carved as waves, 17.7cm. (3)
