A CHINESE LAVENDER-BLUE GLAZED MOON FLASK, BIANHU

QIANLONG 1736-95

The flattened circular body slip decorated, one side with two cranes beneath lotus, the reverse with two magpies on a prunus branch, the neck flanked by ruyi-head strap handles, 23.5cm.

Provenance: from the collection of Anthony Du Boulay. Formerly in the collection of H R N Norton, purchased from Spink & Son for £400.
