A CHINESE BLANC DE CHINE INCENSE BURNER

C.1700

Of archaic form, the compressed circular body raised on a tall flaring footrim incised with key fret designs, mounted with two loop handles, each surmounted by a buffalo's head, a moulded band beneath the rim depicting flowerheads and discs, raised on a later hardwood stand, 19.5cm. (2)

Provenance: the property of a Lady of title.
