MEIJI 1868-1912

Carved as a fierce-looking shishi, its right forepaw resting on a reticulated brocade ball with a loose ball inside, the undulating hair of its mane rolling up into many spirals, the eyes inlaid, paper label to the base, signed Kô/Mitsu Tô in a red cartouche, 4.5cm.
