λ TWO JAPANESE IVORY NETSUKE

MEIJI 1868-1912

The first carved as Fukurokuju sitting before a tree stump smoking his pipe, the base signed Ikko, the other depicting Daruma yawning and stretching after meditating for nine years, his limbs atrophied, the base with the character Sei, meaning 'quiet', 5.3cm. (2)
