Franz Tietze (1842-1932) was a Bohemian engraver of glass in 18th century style who was brought to Dublin in 1865 by Thomas and Richard Pugh, Irish manufacturers of flint glass. He engraved a number of genuine eighteenth century glasses in the historical manner during the late 19th century.
