Description
A rare and small wine bottle dated 1664, of half size onion shape, applied with a large seal bearing the Prussian eagle of the Royal Arms of Brandenburg or Prussia, with wide neck ring to the short tapered neck, around the seal an inscription including the words 'Ad Pavlt de Royal', the surface degraded, 14.2cm.
Possibly made for the court of the Friedrich William, The Great Elector of Brandenburg-Prussia 1640-88.
