A Martin Brothers stoneware gourd vase by Edwin & Walter Martin, dated 1899, the shouldered ovoid body with modelled twist decoration, with incised horizontal bands, everted rim, glazed in shades of brown, incised 5-99 Martin Bros London & Southall, minor firing fault to side, 7cm. high
