A good Martin Brothers stoneware poppy seed-head vase by Edwin & Walter Martin, dated 1900, the ribbed ovoid body with modelled lugs, incised with a flying insect to each side, glazed in shades of blue, white and aubergine on a brown ground incised 2 - 1900 Martin Bros London & Southall, applied paper collection label, 14cm. high
