A pair of George III mahogany knife boxes, each inlaid with barber's pole stringing and kingwood banding, the sloping lid inlaid a marquetry patera, the interior with a parquetry star above a matrix with thirty-seven apertures, with a serpentine front with a gilt brass plaque with initials 'R H', 37.8cm high, 23.2cm wide, 28cm deep.
