Description
A Victorian green leather writing slope by Farthing & Thornhill, the hinged lid with a sunken brass handle revealing a tooled leather slope stamped 'FARTHING & THORNHILL MAKERS 42 CORNHILL', with a lift-out tray fitted with a glass inkwell with compartments and with various utensils including: a pair of scissors, a button hook and a penknife with a brass Bramah lock, 16.3cm high, 40.8cm wide, 28cm deep.
