λ A Victorian amboyna and brass mounted gentleman's dressing case, the hinged lid with a plaque engraved with a motto and crest for the Kennedy family and with initials 'LK', the underside of the lid with a leather letter pouch and a pull-out leather framed mirror, above a lift-out tray with divisions and silver gilt lidded and glass containers, each engraved with a dolphin crest, the silver hallmarked for Frances Douglas, London 1839, fitted with an ivory razor engraved with a hunting scene, above a further lift-out tray fitted with various utensils including: boot-pulls, a corkscrew, scissors and a brush, 10cm high, 21.3cm wide, 27.7cm deep.
