Description
λ A Victorian black leather gentleman's dressing case by Asprey, the hinged lid with gilt intials 'H.D.J.', the interior with a letter pouch to the underside of the lid inscribed 'ASPREY. MANUFACTURER TO HER MAJESTY, 166. BOND ST. W.', with a lift-out tray fitted with silver topped bottles, jars and containers, hallmarked for Thomas Diller, London 1841, each engraved with a crest of a hand holding a cross, with a leather cased stroop, above ivory handled and steel utensils, including: two razors, boot pulls, a nail file, tweezers, scissors and two corkscrews, with a brass Bramah lock, 9cm high, 24.4cm wide, 15.7cm deep.
