A late-17th Century West Country silver Trefid spoon,
Salisbury circa 1680-90,
the terminal prick-dot initialled 'S.E' over 'E.G' '1699', length 17.8cm, approx. weight 1oz.
Provenance: purchased from Christie's South Kensington, Early Silver Spoons and Flatware, 15th April 1998, lot 136.
