λ A Victorian black leather writing slope, the hinged lid with an engraved sunken brass handle with initials 'J.R.M.', the interior with a stationery compartment to the lid, with four utensils above a pair of inkwells and a pen tray with divisions above a plush lined writing surface and a pair of aide-memoire panels, with a spring loaded dressing compartment, with a sunken brass handle and fitted with silver plated jars and boxes and ivory backed brushes, 18cm high, 30.5cm wide, 23.5cm deep.
