A South Staffordshire rectangular snuff box c.1775, the lid embossed with the head and shoulders portrait of a lady wearing a blue shawl over a yellow dress, within a shaped cartouche reserved on a pink ground, the sides with small flower sprays, a flying insect to the base, some good restoration, 5.9cm.
