Description

A Philip Christian (Liverpool) teapot and cover c.1770-75, enamelled with shaped panels of flowers reserved on a bright blue scale ground, the spout and handle with gilt foliate motifs, 21.5cm across. (2)

Provenance: the C E Hanley Collection. Purchased from Simon Spero, 4th April 2001. Previously in the Rous Lench Collection.
